Hi, I’m Alison, founder of SheVive.

I created SheVive to offer the kind of support I know so many women need during perimenopause: clear education, calm guidance, and realistic next steps that work in real life.

If you’ve been feeling unlike yourself, you are not alone. With the right support, this stage can become a positive beginning.

Perimenopause Education Matters

Many women are never properly prepared for the changes it brings.

Hormonal fluctuations can affect your sleep, energy, confidence, bones and joints, long-term health, and emotional wellbeing.

You may never have been shown how to support your hormones, calm your nervous system, or navigate this stage in a way that feels realistic, informed, and supportive.

At SheVive, that begins to change - helping you understand what is happening, feel safer in your body, and start moving forward positively.

The Ginkgo Leaf

The Ginkgo biloba tree, native to Southeast Asia, can live for thousands of years and has come to symbolise resilience, longevity, and renewal. Its distinctive fan-shaped leaves are often seen as a symbol of balance and harmony.

For us, it reflects the SheVive belief that perimenopause is not simply something to get through, but a stage of life that can be met with greater understanding, support, and possibility. It represents strength, growth, and the potential for a positive new beginning.

Ginkgo leaves are sometimes infused to make tea, often alongside Centella asiatica (also known as gotu kola). These herbs have traditionally been associated with supporting nervous system health, cognitive function, and mood.

Always introduce herbs gradually and be mindful of possible side effects. Do not consume if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive. Always check for interactions with any medication and consult your GP or healthcare professional where appropriate.
